DM Round 4 - Wind Down and Relax
Wee Misa made it this time! Many thanks to all who voted for my entry! <3
In this round, I took a lot of shots from different angles and was finally satisfied with this one. I love how the cotton looked like real foam bath. n_n

DM Round 5: NERDS!
This is a tough one because I don't have any glasses so I resorted to DIY!

DM Round 6: Antique: Capture the moments of days gone by.

DM Round 7: Hands and Feet Challenge!

DM Round 8: Didn't Expect THAT!

Yay to me, I've completed the Dollie Mixture photo contest for 2010!
Well, I've missed two rounds though, nonetheless, I'm posting them here. o(n_n)o
What a good way to start my 2011!

I've been a member of Dollie Mixture  for almost a month already and super thankies to Chrissie aka Kaoko, one of the DLS brides,  for inviting me to join! I could say that it is my favorite forum for dolls because of the fun-warm-loving atmosphere there. I get to meet a lot of doll collectors (Pullip, Taeyang and etc.) all over the world! And being a newbie Pullip/Taeyang/Dal collector, I learn so many things about customization (changing stock body to obitsu, taking care of the wigs and etc). What's even more interesting about the forum is the photo contest where we were given a concept per week! In that way, I get to bond with my dolls and at the same time, hone my creative skills and resourcefulness. So here are my entries for the photo contest:
Round 2: Zen - The Essence of JUST your Dolly
This round requires a plain dress, shirt and no accessories at all to highlight the beauty of the doll.
This was a tough one because Misa has the "elegant" look, so no matter what dress I put on her, she wouldn't look simple at all! yes? o.o

Round 3 - Busy Busy! What is Making your Dolls' Life Hectic?
This one I had in mind already so the set up is quite easy and I guess it only took me half an hour to set it up. Folding those little cranes took most of the set up time. They don't require a title for the competion but if they do, I'd prolly say -- "Thousand Cranes Grants A Wish" as Misa and I believe in the Japanese legend that when you fold a thousand of origami cranes your wish will be granted by a crane. FYI, we weren't able to fold a thousand that's why we didn't get the highest vote in this round. LOL! Nevertheless, Misa and I have enjoyed folding those paper cranes!

Round 4 is still ongoing and we're not allowed to post the photos until the competition has ended.

The hubby asked a rhetorical question. "Now you feel how I feel when buying stuff for your doll, eh? That you forget about yourself and just buy stuff for your dolls instead" I was dumbfounded for awhile, remembering and computing how many stuff I already bought for my dolls. I guess, I'd have to agree with him. At the back of my mind I'd scream "NOOO, it can't be happening!" I need more stuff for meself, I should stop this addiction! But hell yeah, it's an addiction so what do yah expect?! Gosh, Am I starting to get obsessed with my dolls?! How about meself now? TT

Ok so this is where I store most of my dollie stuff, some furnitures (chairs, cabinets and etc) and two doll houses were not there..yet! o.O Thankies to the ever supportive hubby, eventhough he's not reading my blog.. >.<

bento lunch and whatnot
I just had the itching of doing some
being creative is one requirement
second is being extraordinarily good at cooking food
for picky eaters
of course without hampering its nutrients
and I've learned that bento is an effective way
for kids to enjoy eating
and these two are my first tries, not so extraordinarily though
(pancit canton, beans, sayote, rice maki, hotdog, apple shaped in stars, bears and flower)
(pancit canton, beans, carrots, meiji hello panda, cube rice with star and heart shapes on top, meat loaf)
and this I made for mom
(mango+cucumber maki, bear|flower|star shaped carrots, soy sauce)

"Misa" the name I gave for my first ever pullip, inspired from the movie Death Note..
She's Pullip Eos and she's the prettiest of 'em all, teehee...
Misa is also the new caretaker of the Sylvanian Families
